Eats: Buffalo Chicken Dip

There are few things that my husband will request on a regular basis. He isn't really a picky eater, but he doesn't really "fall in love" with anything, food-wise. That is, until he ate this dip. It has become a frequent request for parties & get-togethers...and most importantly, during football season. I'm not a fan of hot sauce really, but this stuff is delish!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Yields about 4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (9.75 ounce) cans chunk chicken breast, drained
  • Tortilla chips

  • *Note - The final photos (shown in baking dish) are for a DOUBLED recipe amount. The amounts listed above are NOT doubled; they are for one/4 cups serving.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Mash the cream cheese with fork until softened and smooth.

Add the blue cheese (or ranch) dressing

Add the hot sauce & then
add the cheese - blue cheese crumbles or mozzarella
    (oops, forgot a photo!)

    Mix well

Add chicken & mash into smaller pieces

Place into baking dish & bake for about 20 minutes, until hot & bubbly.

Stir before serving & top with a light layer of additional cheese, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips...veggies would work well too!
