Cheers to One Year!

The Pretty Factor is officially one year old!

 

 

Technically it turned one on Friday but oops, I forgot.

 

I cannot believe one entire year has gone by since I started this little blog. I didn't even know what I would blog about or how consistently I would blog, but over the year I stuck with writing on things that interested me no matter the subject.

 

I have hosted a giveaway, participated in a Bloggers Do It Better challenge, shared some outfit posts (examples: here and here), recipes (examples: here, here and here) and even experienced my first Fashion's Night Out! I joined Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Bloglovin' and I even have my own fancy cards to share...you can even shop my closet!

 

This has become such an enjoyable journey for me. Regardless of whether or not it's read or shared or commented on, it has become my own place to express myself about all the different things I love. I hope this next year brings even more joy with the hopes of new doors being opened for me to experience new and exciting things!

Getaway in Vero Beach

The weekend before Easter, the Hubs and I took a little road trip to Vero Beach for a quick weekend getaway. It was also was a delayed 5th anniversary trip. We signed up for the Disney Vacation Club back in December, so it made perfect sense to book our stay at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. The resort was right on the ocean and even with families abound, it was such a relaxing weekend!

Happy Anniversary Justin & Rene!

Today my brother & his bride are celebrating two years of marriage! I cannot believe it's been two years already...I feel like I was just at their wedding just a few months ago!

It was a pretty special day. I was emotional seeing my "little" brother become a husband - it almost didn't seem right because in my mind, he is still an annoying little kid that I can't shake. ;) But the really special part was knowing that I would now have a sister!

Five Years

Today the Hubs and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary!

I cannot believe how quickly the years have gone by and all that we have shared in that time. He truly is my best friend and I am so grateful to call him my husband. We have truly walked out the wedding vows we exchanged on that day and I am so excited to see what the future holds.
