Julep - April

I received my Julep box for the month of April and I was so happy to see the pretty spring colors inside! Not sure what Julep is? Check out my intro post here.

April's box was "It Girl" and featured three pretty shades:

Niecy (super bright pink), Penelope (soft blush) and Jessica (baby blue)

They even sent fun little toe separators & chocolate eggs, just in time for Easter!

Handy Dandy: 'Un-Vanilla' Baking Tip

Baking chocolate cakes?

Use the dry chocolate cake mix (or cocoa powder) to "flour" your baking dish and you won't have any white powder mess on the sides!

I actually missed this year's ACM show because I was coming back from a weekend away with my my honey but I did catch the red carpet shots and I rounded up my faves!

Friday's Five

My five favorites this week:

#1 - Gummy bears have been on my crave list all week!

#2 - "House of Consignment" on VH1 follows the fashion e-retail business of Corri McFadden. She created eDrop-Off at just 23 years old & has made into her own successful fashion resale empire. Love her spunk & love her style!

#3 - La Croix water. So many flavors & super tasty!

#4 - Love Express fragrance. I just recently picked this up in roller ball & I love how it fits in my makeup bag & is so easily accessible when I need a little fragrant pick me up.

#5 - This is where I am headed for the weekend...can you guess where?
