A Christmas Roadtrip

This past weekend my family and I road-tripped it to Orlando for what has become our new holiday tradition - a mini getaway to celebrate the Christmas season at Disney World! It started the Christmas right before the Hubs and I were married and it has happened every year since. Coincidentally my brother and his wife happen to live in Orlando so it works perfectly, especially on the years they are unable to drive south and spend Christmas with us.

I brought my camera along for the trip but didn't pull it out once, so here are some photos from the trip courtesy of my trusty iPhone. Enjoy!

We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek resort which had only been open for two months prior to our stay. I would definitely recommend it if you visit the Orlando area. This hotel was a-maz-ing! Check out some of the decor...

Some shots from Downtown Disney -

The next two shots feature displays made entirely of LEGOS!

 Dressed up for dinner -

And the randoms -

This display is made entirely of chocolate! It smelled heavenly :)

Peppermint Patty martini

That's all folks! Sad thing is that I just realized how few pics I took of people, haha!
Oh well, better luck on family photos this weekend ;)

And don't forget to take advantage of the 50% discount for your first JewelMint purchase, courtesy of the MBA Seattle team! Details can be found HERE.

In a Merry Mood

How could you not be in a merry mood when you are here?!

Yep, the family took a roadtrip to Orlando for the weekend! My brother and his wife live up here and Disney World just happens to be in their neck of the woods. Bonus!

Happy Saturday folks!

Wine & Dine

This past weekend the Hubs and I went on a mini weekend getaway to Orlando with our best friends. It was the first vacation together for the six of us and I don't know if it could have been any more fun! It originally started as an idea (months ago) to head up to Walt Disney World and check out a park...then we realized that our time frame was during the annual Food & Wine Festival held at Epcot. Some quick planning began and before you knew it, our trip was a go!

Here are some photos from the trip...there are a bunch, be prepared!

I get seriously GIDDY every single time I see this entrance!

Yep, the Epcot sphere!

Coco-Cola flavors around the world

The World Showcase

Girls in England

Gardens in France

Eating in Portugal
*The travel passport gave food descriptions for each country offered & it would be stamped upon your purchase!

Moroccan market

Venetian masks

This display of Cinderella's Castle can be yours for only $38,000!

Our 'Mexican' boys

 My souvenir from England.
Princess crowns? I had to.

If you haven't been to Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival, it comes HIGHLY recommended! It happens every year sometime from September thru November.

If you haven't been to Walt Disney World yet, then I suggest you get on it!
It truly is the "Happiest Place on Earth!"
