So here we are friends - we are about two weeks into the new year! I really cannot believe how fast the days go by! While I don't like the fact that the holiday season is really over, it is nice to know that we have a whole bunch of things to look forward to within 2012! And why not start this year off with a giveaway...the first here at TPF ever!

The lovely people of JewelMint (most specifically the Mint Brand Ambassador Team of Seattle) offered up a piece of their jewels for me to giveaway to a reader!

This is what I call my "nighttime look" - contacts out, glasses on and parading around in my comfy, cozy hot pink robe from Victoria's Secret. What is new here is this adorable purple ear warmer that I won from Made on Main by Miss E! It's a soft yarn in a basket weave knit and while Florida weather doesn't really call for ear warmers, I have been rocking this thing all in the house. It cracks my husband up every time :)

Back in October I discussed how I never considered myself a "lucky" person when it comes to winning prizes or giveaways, but I was stoked when I did win a Jessica Simpson Collection giveaway hosted by Sarah of Raving Fashionista.

I am proud to announce that my winning streak is on a serious climb upwards! In the past few weeks, I have been blessed to win a few more giveaways!

This week I received my second giveaway win that was hosted by Ashley of Sloanbook!

Winning

I wouldn't ever say that I have a winning streak. I'll sign up for a million contests and giveaways till the end of time but 9 times out of 10, I won't ever win the prize.

Well maybe things are starting to turn around because this time I WON :)

Back in mid September, Sarah from Raving Fashionista held a giveaway on her site for a bundle of goodies from Jessica Simpson Collection. All we had to do was pack our dream suitcase with items from the JSC site. So I signed myself up, made my little suitcase and then I shrugged it off because I just do not have that winning streak.
What do I know??

My bundle of goodies included: bootcut jeans, ivory lace camisole, faux leather shorts, cinnamon v-neck blouse & a super plush knitted poncho

I took these photos pretty quickly with my iPhone because I was so excited to get my prize!

And because my camera was M.I.A.

I have to get a few of the items altered to fit but I hope to put them to use soon!
